I'll admit, the cinematography is decent and the bending isn't half-bad. Personally, I would've used more of an Asian sounding soundtrack than or even use the original score from the show to in my trailer instead of generic "badass" rock music.
Why is everything done in that 300 style slow-motion? You think someone like M. Night Shyamalan, who regards himself as a sophisticated artsy type, would be above that; I'm almost half expecting one of the characters to shout "THIS IS AVATAR!" and kick someone into a pit.
...wait a minute, is that the cabbage man EARTHBENDING?! If that's so, than why couldn't he use his earthbending in the show to defend his cabbages and prevent them from getting knocked over?! It just--DOESN'T MAKE ANY SENSE!
Okay, I'm probably just overreacting; its probably Haru (who just happens to dress like the cabbage man for some reason), but still, wouldn't that be such a "WHAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAT?!" moment there?
